Established by Chinese food scholars and colleagues around the world in 2011 and held annually, the Asian Food Study Conference focuses on things around food production and consumption in perspective of globalization, promotes interdisciplinary research on food, and gets people together explore the future of food culture.

Our purpose is to promote the value of food culture, to lead lifestyle of food civilization, and to build a sustainable environment of research, education and industry around food studies.

Through the combination of research and industry, we expect to make a connection for those from administrations, catering and food companies, universities and institutes, media and others concerned, let them joint the conversation about the history and reality of food culture in diversity, thus positively meet the trends and challenges in the future.
